Suzie Liu is a supervising producer at ABC News, where she has created some of its most successful podcasts and audio documentaries.

When she first joined ABC News, there wasn’t a podcast division at the company. She helped build one from the ground up by producing meaningful award-winning work; leading a team of standout producers; and collaborating with editorial partners across The Walt Disney Company.

Suzie led the production of “Devil in the Desert” and “Cold Blooded: Mystery in Alaska,” ABC News’ highest-performing podcasts to date. Her projects have brought home numerous awards, including two Edward R. Murrow Awards for “Reclaimed.” In 2022, Suzie was honored with a national Gracie Award in the individual Podcast Producer category.

Suzie was previously a news editor at WFUV 90.7 FM and a copy editor at Greater Media Newspapers in central New Jersey. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. She loves talking about the craft of audio storytelling and has given lectures at CUNY, Columbia University and Fordham University.
